Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions such as opening a guide, using the scorekeeper, or choosing to play a game. Google Analytics may use cookies and receive information such as the page visited, browser and device characteristics, approximate location, and interaction timing.

We do not intentionally send player names, room codes, card hands, or scorekeeper card counts as analytics event data. Google provides a browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics.

Device-local information

Theme, animation speed, card size, sound, haptics, coach preferences, and the Setback scorekeeper's current match are stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them from that browser.

Private rooms

Private rooms use anonymous authentication and a room code so invited players can share a table. Public game state is separated from each seat's private hand. Room and connection records are retained only as needed to operate, recover, and clean up the table.
